2023 Jeep Compass Latitude

The 2023 Jeep Compass Latitude’s Trailhawk model is popular with off-road enthusiasts, but the base model has issues. Its cargo space is on the smaller side, and its turbocharged engine can’t compete with cars like the Kia Sportage Hybrid and Honda CR-V.

2020 Toyota Sequoia

This full-size SUV has a large cabin and a solid 381-horsepower V8 engine. However, it has a high five-year cost-to-own, an outdated cabin, and a poor fuel economy of 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.

2020 Nissan Frontier

The 2020 Frontier does have some upsides, including a 310-horsepower V6 engine that gives it good acceleration. However, U.S. News argues that “its cabin looks outdated and is prone to road and wind noise” and lacks a range of diver-assistance features.

The EcoSport offered drivers a simple-to-use infotainment system and poised handling, but its cabin was mediocre and filled with hard plastics. It also lacked forward emergency braking and lane-departure warning. Ford later canceled the EcoSport after the 2022 model year.
