Modern society is overrun by consumerism, so much so that we’ve lost all sense of financial responsibility. Many boomers prioritized financial stability and saving for the future. They can teach younger generations the importance of living within their means, saving for retirement, and avoiding excessive debt.

We are so disconnected from each other these days that we can learn a lot about engaging with the community from boomers. While our version of ‘busy’ is getting lost in the scroll, this generation actively participated in community organizations, volunteer work, and political activism.
